Old Chestnut Cabin

A comfortable place conducive to creativity! Positive: We loved how rustic the cabin was! The fireplaces upstairs and downstairs kept us warm. Our host also provided us with space heaters for the cold snap that was coming in the event that we needed more heat! I enjoyed the upstairs livingroom the most! It was a nice quiet creative space, that I could read, draw or play guitar! I would shut the door and have my creative time to myself! Imagine drawing or reading on a cold night beside fireplace! There was a door to the balcony and you could leave it open if you needed fresh cool air! Negative: There was nothing I didn't like.

Positive: Loved the old cabin and all the history that was provided about it. The wide wood floors to the old stairs leading upstairs reminded me of my aunts house when I was a child. Brought back a lot of memories.

I would def stay there again, anytime. Positive: All of it. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there Negative: The staircase inside. Very narrow.

The cabin was very nice and clean. The cabin is in a great spot in between Asheville and Waynesville with a lot of activities to do nearby.
